I'm forever grateful for friends who are far more adventurous than myself. Sarah invited me to explore the tiny, mostly-forgotten town of Echo, Utah. I've driven past the exit sign a handful of times as I've driven to other destinations but never pulled off to see where the windy road would take me.

A handful of cars drove by as curious drivers craned their necks to see who these visitors with cameras were. I felt I was intruding. I imagined what the town used to be like in its prime, when cars would pull over and get gas or stop at the diner while they waited for an oil change. What changed? Although I'm sure this town has its fair share of stories to tell, the only one I can contribute is that of a hidden, abandoned street and its architectural skeletons.
